I have tried all I can think of to stop an annoying Pop-Up when trying to shut down from Netscape 7.2....basically I get a blank rectangular overlay with a Netscape heading??? when I right click to view info I get..........
Untitled Page and a long URL starting with ....HTTP://AR.ATWOLA.COM...........

Oh, yes and blocking popups may not do anything much. The site is just the visible, but it is important to know what leads to it. And, it took me a while to figure out the problem. I ended up right clicking on the text, and selected Properties. That gave me the website, a very long one. I ended up blocking the site, as well as accepting cookies only for the originating site. And, of course, I deleted the cookies.
I never saw the problem in Netscape7.2 or Mozilla1.7.5, but I saw this, recently, in Firefox1.0. I am blocking cookies from ar.atwola.com, and atwola.com as well the biggest offenders, i.e. casale.com, clicktracks.com and specificclick.net.
