Resolved Poor screen backgrounds

    Running two Windows 10 installations, desktop and laptop, both of which installed very easily.
    Very pleased with the OS except for the very limited range of screen background colours when a solid colour is selected.
    In previous Windows any colour could be chosen and then adjusted for saturation, this is not possible now in 10. 24 colours are possible, all very saturated, with no adjustment possible.
    Has anybody found a method of improving this selection?

    Make your own background picture, say 1400x1050, fill it with the colour you prefer and save as jpeg. Save in Pictures and then set as background.
