Has anyone had a problem like this? The plug-in was downloaded and Netscape 7.1 still compalins that there is no plug-in even after re-booting several times....

    - The problem --- Netscape complains about the plug-in for Java being missing and instructs us to download the plug-in.

    Suzette,

Click on Help | About Plug-ins
What does that list for the Java Plugin?

Which Java Plug-in did you install, and was it from the Sun site, or are you talking about the Java that comes with the official Netscape program?

Can you post the exact error dialog, please.

    Ramona :D

    unplugged-in

    My bad Ramona...;(

Originally when Netscape was installed (7.1), somewhere along the line, the plug-in was disabled and we had to download the correct one. Unfortunately, when we visited the Sun site, they downloaded the incorrect java. If they would have scrolled down a bit, they would have found the java for Netscape.....;)

So, alls well on the Eastern front again.....!

    Sorry to bother you!
