I have the screen saver set to a folder of photos that I like, and I run the free Zone Alarn firewall which tells me when something tries to communicate outbound as well as inbound.

I keep getting this message: Photo Screen Saver is rying to access the trusted zone: destination IP: yada yada. (It names another computer on my home network).

    Now here are my questions:

    1. Why is photo screen saver trying to connect to another computer on the network?

    2. If I allow, is there an issue to be concerned with?

Is the folder located on this same machine where you're running the screen saver?

    It is.

In fact, none of the photos have ever been on the other computer.

No doubt it checks all possible picture sources before running - including networked computers - just guessing, but sounds reasonable :)

    That makes sense.

The folder location is set in the screen saver Settings, but I suppose it could "make a sweep" by the network door as it goes to work.
