I restored a customers Acer computer back to factory which was Windows XP Media Center Edition. The restore utility gave me the option of saving all the data to a folder it would create before doing the restore. I chose that option. After the restore completed I moved the data from the backup folder to the users folders and then proceded to delete the backup folder. I was able to delete everything except one folder. The folder shows to be there but I am unable to delete it, rename it, change the ownership, etc. Windows xp tells me that it cannot read from the device. I have rebooted into safe mode-command prompt only and it shows the folder there but when I try to delete it is says it can't find the folder. If anyone out there has ever seen or heard about this I would appreciate any info or links that might shed some light on this. It's there but it isn't. Thanks in advance.

Google for a program like 'Unlocker'. It will allow you to delete almost anything, be careful with it. It's possible that when you backed everything up to that folder, you copied or moved some system files which Windows won't let you delete.
