I have a notepad file and a folder
The folder is full of songs. The notepad list all the song names.
Last night I would copy a song name from notepad and paste it on the song of choice. All worked fine but it got late and I did not finish.
When I started my process again this morning it would not work. I can right click and copy the name of the song from notepad but when trying to place it on the song the paste option was missing when right clicking on the song. Paste was not grayed out but completely missing from the drop down list. Any suggestion on how to get it back?
I tested the copy/paste using just notepad and it works fine. Typed a word using notepad, then copied it using right click and moved down an right click and paste was there. i then clicked paste and it worked.
Not sure what is going on.

Have you tried Ctrl+C (Copy) and Ctrl+v (Paste). Just Highlight as normal what you want to copy and try the keys. Neil.

    Paste

That I didn't try so I did and it works.
Ctrl v solved the problem but still can't figure why my Context Menu dropped the word paste
    Thanks

Be sure when you go to Paste that you Left click your cursor - then Right click beside or below the cursor. If you click above your cursor you may get a different context menu.
Glad to know that Ctrl+v worked for you. ;) Neil.
