   I am in severe need to find out how i can prevent my thumb drivr/ hard drive/memorystick from being used without my permission. I don't need to protect the folders on it, I need to make the flash drive useless unless you know the password. Can anyone help?

   I would suggest encrypting the drive with True Crypt - the method I use when required.
