How does XP's "management" module eliminate a partition and
    regain the disc space too!
Example: Have a compaq that comes with a hard disk with 2 partitions, one for the "save" and a primary one.
I want to get rid of the "save" one and have one bigger one.

I may be wrong but AFAIK, you can't do what you want using native XP utilities. Partition Magic or something similar will do the job though.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have Partition Magic 5.0 and can't make that work either! Perhaps a later version will do it. I had
hoped I wouldn't have to go that expense!

Thanks for the info! I have Partion Magic 5.0 and it won't
get rid of the second partition and restore the original hard
    drive disk space.
I'll buy 7.0 and see if it will!
