page minimise

As of a couple of days ago my computer has decided to close whatever program I'm running when I minimise the window.
This seems to have possibly manifested with the last auto update.
Should I do a system restore or what?

First, to make sure the application is actually closing and not just disappearing, hold down the Alt key and press the Tab key. If the application is still running, it will be one of the choices on the small window that pops up (repeated pressing of the tab key will cycle through the choices).

If it's still running, you probably have the "Friend Greeting" worm/trojan/malware. Go to this Trend Micro site for removal instructions.
