    Hi everyone,

I just got a new isp that uses Outlook Express for e-mail. I have never used Outlook Express before because I had Aol, which didn't use it. I tried to find it via Start-Programs and it didn't show up on the list. I found the folder "Outlook Express" in the Programs file on my C: drive, but don't know how to move it to the Programs list acessable by the Start button. I also don't know how to make it active. Can anyone help me? I have a HP Brio w/ a Celeron processor and 4 gig on C drive, 20 gig on D. I'm running Win98SE w/ IE6 and a dial up isp. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions offered.

    Hi

    C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe

    will fire up Outlook Express

    (MicroSoft Internet Mail and News)

if you create a shortcut to this file you can add that (the shortcut) to your Start Menu, or to Quick Launch, or your Desktop...

    (leave msimn.exe where it is)

    best wishes, HJ.

Find the file "msimn.exe" referred to in the above post, then right click on it, point at "Send To" and in the submenu that appears, left click on "Desktop (create shortcut)." A shortcut to Outlook Express will appear on your desktop.

Then use the information given to you by your new ISP to set up your email account.
