I am having a recent issue with Outlook 2007, version SP2 MSO, on the computers I have running Windows 7. I have set my email to save a copy of the email on my server for 10 days but this setting somehow keeps getting changed and the boxes "uncheck" themselves and my email is being deleted from my server after it is downloaded into Outlook. This has only been occurring for the last few weeks, before that, no problems. Any suggestions?

I could be an issue with your mail provider server. When an email client downloads messages, when finished, it sends a command to the server to leave the messages or delete them. Either command can fail. And Outlook may end up doing strange things as a result, but it should not reset your configs.

Try changing your Outlook settings, then close Outlook. Then start it again.
