Outlook 2002 html issues

    I have outlook 2002 and i can send e-mail in html form, but when i go to read my sent e-mails they show all the html tags like <html> and &nbsp.
    the view as html menu option is grayed out.
    any suggestions to how i can view my own messages as html?

    If you click the forward button and then the format button, what format are they? Plain Text or HTML?

    they are html,
    but i still have 100's of sent messages in html that i can not read due to the fact that outlook will not let me switch to html view mode.
