I need configure Outlook-2000 to solve the following task:

I need make that emails, received from one sender was
return back to sender with text something like: "Recipient
has rejected this sender as spam ". But, at the same time,
I need read this email received from this sender(sender
    should not know this).

    Thanks

I'm on Exchange Server so can't be positive you have the exact same options but you want to create a message rule from a blank (rather than any of the templates)

First screen, set it to take action when the message is from whomever

Next screen, check the boxes for
    - move a copy to a specified folder
    - have the server reply using a specific message
    - delete it.

That way you aren't really touching the original message so any 'read flag' shouldn't be activated, you have a copy to read, and the original will be gone.

Errr - the whomever meant that you can pick 1 or 2 or 75 or 1026 specific accounts the rule will apply to so it is only active when an account you selected sends you an email.

Sure, the Exchange Server settings differs from Outlook-2000, (I have Office2000 installed, Win98); is there way create something in Outlook-2000? Probably, use Rules Wizard > reply using a specified template?
But I have no this template installed.

I looked at home (Outlook 2002 and no exchange server) before I did the reply above. Saw the same rules options. I don't have 2000 to play with but from memory the rules features haven't changed much, if at all.

What happens when you try to create a rule and tell it you want to start from a blank rule rather than template? I'd expect the screen options from my first reply. Which of them are you not seeing?

When I said 'whomever' I meant you should check the box for "From people or distribution list" and then pick the person you want this to apply to from your address book.

If you need more details, send me email via this forum giving the name of the person you want this to apply to and I'll send you a reply that contains pictures of each screen with the way you need to fill it out.
