    Just wanted some opinions on CCleaner. Is it worth it for the average computer user?

    To answer your question simply - YES! :) :)
    Formerly known as '**** Cleaner', this little application does wonders for getting rid of all the extranneous '****' floating around on your computer. I installed in 2-3 months ago and use it 2-3 times a week. Amazing what it finds and corrects or gets rid of for you. If fact, I ran it about an hour ago, and it found nearly 18MB of junk - shortcuts, bad dlls, etc - that were clogging things. We advocate it's use to all of our customers here at the University - along with SpyBot and AdAware, of course - to help keep things clean and running better.
