Open Inbox Automatically

    This is just an annoyance, but recently my Mozilla Mail 1.7.3 began opening with the default account highlighted/selected rather than its Inbox. It's just another click to open the Inbox, but it's one extra click and I didn't have to do it previously. I have a vague memory of seeing something about how to force Inbox to be the first screen, but can't find it. :confused:

    Open "properties" for your default mail account, select:

    Server Settings|

    select "Check for new messages at startup "

    close and re-open mail.
