on line trouble

When i go on line, i used to get a promt from windows asking if i want my name and password saved. it dosen't do that any more, i reinstalled win 98se and now it dosen't ask me any more.

HELP AGAIN

I thing you got the wrong idea, i don't have any problem saving my password to get on line. its when iam on line that i go to different websites that i need a username and password. a block used to come up everytime i wanted to save a new name and password. on different sites. now it dosen't come up at all. sorry for the misunderstanding.

 

I had that exact same problem and with numerous attempts at reinstalling I finally found that my computer had a virus that eventually promoted that!!

I think I can help you!

1) Open Internet Explorer.
2) At top, go to Tools > Internet Options...
3) Click on "Content" tab.
4) Click on "Auto Complete ".
5) Check or UNcheck whatever you want.
6) Click "OK ".
7) Click "Apply" and "OK' again.

I did everything you all said but nothing. in internet exp. everything is checked. i even did a complete reinstalition of win 98.
