OLE2nls.DLL error

    I get this code when trying to open a Family Tree maker geneology program. I have no idea whether this is a Microsoft problem or a Geneology program problem. When I looked up OLE in a glossary, Microsoft was mentioned....so here I am ...hoping for guidance to the correct forum.

    The problem seems to be a common one since it's addressed in Genealogy.com's knowledge base on this page.

    My DLL problem

    Miz.........thanks for the lead. I shut down my computer for a second time after I had posted the problem, and that has seemingly solved the problem. Usually a Restart solves things....but it had not done so before I posted.


    I will go read that page you suggested.
