A few years back there was a Netscape newsgroup run from their servers. Members included a lot of Netscape Champions (in particular Jay Garcia and hb). Does a similar group like this still exist and if so does anyone have the URL so that I can read it? Thanks.

    James,

There are many, many, Netscape Newsgroups. You can subscribe to them from Mail & Newsgroups. The NG is secnews.netscape.com. The Champions are still very active on the groups. When you set up your NG, in the Server Setting, select: Use Secure setting, and this will change the Port # to 563, as it is a secure NG.

If you need more help setting up the group, let us know.

Same as it has been all all along, i.e. ufaq.org, which is run by Jay.
By the way, has anyone had problems with this website, not remembering my username/password, although it is checked to remember. Maybe my problem is that I accept cookies from only the originating site, although the list of cookies is disgusting. I wish I could have a few beside advertising junk. And, more than anything else, I would like to know what they are doing. I counted over 30 cookies, after I removed at least as many.
If they are tracking, I wish They have the courtesy to inform me. I may or may not mind it.
