When I try to install microsoft office, i get a message saying that I must run the setup from the original location so it will not install. What is wrong?

    office install

I believe they mean drive location. When I installed some proggys via my cdrom drive D all was well in windows world. Then I got a new hard drive & a cd burner. I installed these and drive letters changed. So when I used my cdrom to re-install me proggys I got the "message ". I saved me documents then uninstalled the office, cleaned the registry of office pointers & re-installed. Worked great for me! Other solutions are sure to follow such as mapping the drives.
