I am running Win 98 SE and have Office 97 Pro Edition installed and the other day it prompted me to repair my Excel. I put in my CD and was prompted for my 11 digit key--in Belarc it shows mine is a 20 digit key. My son and I both have Office 97 and somehow are disk got interchanged. He is deployed to Baghdad for a year and all of his belongings are in storage in NJ and I am in NE. Is there any way to get a key? I have tried to contact Microsoft with out any luck. My Office system is running OK but get a prompt to repair a corrupt .dll every time I run it. I have a 20 digit key but need a 11 digit key.

Most .dll files can be downloaded from somewhere - try Googling or if you have a friend using Office 97 copy it from his computer.
