I have a real odd, and potentially difficult problem to describe.
Recently, my default fonts have been changed to italic. For instance, many website based emails (Gmail), some forum based websites, and any office documents I open ... the text is arial italic. The font should just be arial. In an excel doc for instance, if I click on a cell, it does not indicate a italic formatted cell.

Is there a generic font setting that may have gotten inadvertently changed that may be the cause of this problem?

    Yes ... resolved.

Yes ... it did (finally) resolve the problem. At first it was only 50/50 solved, but after a restart, all was back to normal.

I had to use to unregister and reregister the mlang.dll file.
