Sorry if this has been asked to death, but my search did not return any results to what I hope is not too dumb of a question.

Whise browsing with IE ver. 6.0.2800.1106, and using Windows ME OS, I occasionally get these 'Object Moved' pages returned when I click on a link. But when I click on 'here', nothing happens! That is, I dont go to the redirected page.

Is this a brower issue, or a configuration in my Norton IS 2003 package, (which I have tried to identify without any luck), or is this a problem with the website itself?

Let me know if you need any other info.

    Thanks

    Doug

Yes and No...yes I have NIS with ad blocking toggled on, but no, the problem still exists when toggled off.
Thanks for taking a shot though. Given that I have Norton Internet Security 2003 running, is there any other possible 'feature' that might be causing this? Or is this a problem on that particular website?

Thanks Lonnie, that stuff has been checked out, but now I'm finding that this is a known bug as per a MS Knowledge Base Article-179895:

    SYMPTOMS
When you are use Microsoft Internet Explorer to access the Microsoft Exchange Active Server Components (Web connector), the following error message can appear:

    Object moved.
The object may be found <here>.
The word "here" is a link to another page. Accessing the link will not allow access to the Active Server Components Web-based Inbox or public folders.
    WORKAROUND
The above situation can occur if you are using a version of Internet Explorer earlier than version 3.01. For the proper processing of Active Server Components, upgrade the browser to Internet Explorer version 3.01 or later.

    End quote.....

So I guess the problem is why am I experiencing this when I am running the latest version of IE? Hmmmm.

    Thanks all for your help.

Disable NIS from running at startup, reboot and see whether the issue is still present.

You wrote that this only happens on one site? If so, then obviously it must be the site. Post the link if that's the case.

It happened when I was browsing somewhere on the frontiernet.net faq page. But it happens from time to time on other folks pages. It's infrequent enough that when it occurs, I just move on. Fortunately it hasn't happened with an important page.
