I have a situation where Window 2000 Pro clients logon to a Linux server which uses SAMBA and roaming profiles. A policy file exists and is loaded when users logon. This prevents users from accessing various windows features such as RUN etc. This is not a problem. However the policy also prevents clients from altering internet connections. I need to change this to allow me to change internet setting for every user. I beleive that there is a policy template to achieve this. Can any one help.

I would try removing the policy for a short time and log in as the user who's internet policy you want to change, change what needs to be done and then put the policy backn in place.
