I just noticed that my newly installed NS email is not spell checking. I looked up the help on this and what it told me was to Click the Spell button on the toolbar, or open the Edit menu and choose Check Spelling. But there is no spell button on the toolbar or check spelling in the edit menu - suggestions?

    Spell checker

Do you have spell check enabled in Outlook Express.

Open Outlook Express > Tools > Options > Put a check mark in the box > Always Check Spelling Before Sending.

    See if that works

Never say that. However, since 7.2 is getting quite obsolete (read write up from Ramona), consider getting Thunderbird1.5, to which you can get your settings from 7.2. Its spellchecker is more like the Outlook type (I think), where errors in spelling are automatically underlined. It is so much faster than the old way.
