I am currently running Norton SystemWorks 2003 on XP. When I try running Disk Doctor I get a message that another program has exclusive access to the drive. This also happens when I run standard error checking. However, I am able to schedule a diagnostic when the system reboots. I would like to know if there is a way to grant Norton the ability to scan my drive. Thanks for any help, I am still getting used to XP. :)

Afraid not. You'll have to get used to this in XP, You can sometimes get access to non-system drives for chkdsk or Norton by unmounting them, but usually you'll have to perform these operations on reboot (a good thing, really).
