no disk space left

    Hi All,
    a couple nights ago, i started up my old pc to use for a network storage server and now windows explorer is telling me i have 109mb free space. when i run partition magic 8, it tells me i have over 4gb of free space left on my c:\ drive. please help.

    also, does anyone know of a free firewall for win95?

    system specs
    Pentium Pro 200 mhz
    128mb ram
    2 hdd
    hdd 0
    partition 1 6gb
    partition 2 24gb
    hdd 1
    partition 3 76gb
    dvd rom

    Hi BladeTurbo,

    I'm not even going to attempt addressing what may be a "Networking" problem/snafu particularly to a self described "expert ". I can suggest that you close this post out here (win98 forum) and repost in the Networking Forum or at least post a request for others (better qualified) to have a looksee and add a link to this post. Possibly this post has slipped through the cracks while others, who usually address this type of issue, have been busy/active/tied-upped in other posted issues, in other forum rooms. Some days are just plain frenzied around here.

    Partition Magic is seeing "unpartitioned" space and Windows Explorer is reporting the free space available in an existing partition. You can use PM 8 to increase the size of C:\ or to create a new separate partition and a logical drive within that.

    Hi All, thanks for your input, but i fixed the problem by installing win95 (what is what i originally wanted in the first place). i like 95 better anyways.
