I am not a computer guru by any means. I am having problems with my computer locking up and the only way that I can get it to go again is to restart it manually (ie turn it off and then turn it on again.)

When I go to the taskbar to see what is running, under processes, I see a lot of nntray.exe running. They are listed under system. I think that is what is locking up the system. When I reboot, there is only one left. There can be 200 plus running when it locks up.

I have no idea what is causing this. Any suggestions...please.

Net Nanny Version 4.0: In Windows 98 or Windows ME, click Start > Run, and type msconfig in the box to start a Windows configuration tool. Go to the Startup tab, which displays a list of programs that run at startup. Uncheck the entries for "nntray.exe "and "NNSvsc ", then restart. Net Nanny disabled!
