NK2 File

Hello everyone.

New here...

So one of my favorite features of outlook is the auto complete in the address fields. I needed to reformat my computer so I was pleased to find out about the outlook.nk2 file that saves the email addresses. I saved it, along with my pst file and when I reinstalled everthing put these files into their respective folders. But Outlook is not able to autocomplete the addresses from the original nk2 file. In fact, it even adds to it any new email addresses, but then it can only find those and not the hundreds of others in the file. I can see the addresses if I open the file with notepad. Any ideas?

Before I copied in the old one, I used Outlook for a few emails to see where it created the nk2 file and then replaced that one with the old one.

 

Thanks yes, this is where I go the information in the first place. But it's not working for me.
