newbie alert!

Hi all, first a confession...I've used computers since the futuristic c64 was unleashed, but still without a clue how things work in the mystical box.

Someone mentioned windowsbbs to me a couple of years ago, I put it in my 'visits pending' folder and promptly forgot about it, then recently recognised the name when I stumbled here whilst searching for a cure to my latest setback.

Not sure what type of a board this is, but I guess I'll find out in no time at all.

I'm a Brit, lived a year or more in several countries, woke up in Thailand a few years ago and have been here since.

Hope to have fun, and also to learn a bit.
