    Hi all,
    became a new member to hopefully augment my pitiful knowledge of how computers work, and hopefully sort out some problems from time to time.
    I live in wales, and i am a mechanical fitter by trade.

    thanks for the welcome pete, however i notice i have a nasty red arrow alongside my post. i am completely new to forums so i do hope i have done something wrong already.

    One of the problems of being a Staff member is that I see things that members do not and probably vice versa so I am not sure what you are referring to.

    There's nothing wrong with your two posts to date :)
