New Here - Intro

I'm glad I found this site. I'm an Intermediate user of computers. I am not certified but have done enough work on my (and everyone else's computers) that I probably should be. I have a desktop running Windows XP that has been down for awhile. I went and bought a laptop with Vista....hate it hate it hate it. I have spent so much time updating and tweaking and the blasted thing still runs slow. I don't have the money to get XP (if you can even find it anymore) and am wary of the new Windows 7 (refer to Vista experience) until it's been out for awhile. Anyway, hopefully I can get my desktop going with help from here. Nice to have found this site.
