Hopefully an easy question and easy answer:

2 desktops, one Vista x64 and one Win 7 Pro x64, both both hard wired to e4200 Router.

One laptop with Win 7 Home, connecting wireless.

Wish to share a USB printer connected to Win 7 Desktop. Can I do this with with Network Print Server such as:
    http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10521&cs_id=1052103&p_id=5342&seq=1&format=2

and if so, is it as easy as it sounds? Any tip/tricks?

    Thanks.

Yes, it can easily be done.
I used a Netgear device similar to that one before.
However, you'll need to install the software for the device on each computer to make printing efficient. For example, if the printer is in use by one computer, the software informs you when the printer becomes available for use.

    Tip:
Assign the printer a static LAN IP address when you set it up the first time with the device. If the router is 192,168.1.1, the set the printer to something like 192.168.1.50, subnet 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1.

A static address ensures it will stay online all the time with no conflicts and will always be available to the computers.

I prefer to use printers with built in networking that connect directly to the router..
