With the lights being turned off / set to a very dim at the office Netscape, do we have a CLUE the short / long term continuation of Netscape WEBmail email service... via WEBview or IMAP email account(s). I've been fortunate that it has always been a very reliable email system source. I have a number of sites addressed through this service. Managing through Netscape IMAP has been a handy feature. Do I start looking for a replacement.... or is it the same wait and see if they keep the lights on... day by day?

    Hi Dennis,

    According to Jay Garcia:

    snews://secnews.netscape.com:563/bf3rmr$9vc41@ripley.netscape.com

Anyone know what will happen to Netscape Mail after the demise of Netscape?

Expect it to continue, according to releases. At least for now...

    As hb sez .....

And, AOL has made the comment that "our web portal is very important
.... blah blah ". With that in mind, I expect it to remain intact for a good while, or until it dies - one or the other

Trying to figure out what AOL is going to do next has been nothing less
    than a ****-shoot.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any updates. Short term, You're probably O.K., but I wouldn't be complacent, long term.
