I'm using NC 7.1 and am getting a message stating "Your screen name (XXXX) is registered into AOL messenger in two locations. How do I get rid of one of registrations and, MOST OF ALL, get rid of the D*** popup box?

    lbfoto,

Do you also use the same screen name for Netscape Instant Messaging that you use for AOL? I would request Password verification, to see if by chance you have registered twice.

I don't believe you will be able to get rid of that popup window until you determine your registration status.

You might take a look at the NIM Registration FAQ and the AOL Registration FAQ

I must have either registered twice on NIM, or registered once each on NIM and AOL when I upgraded to NS 7.1. How do I delete/disable/destroy/blowup or otherwise get rid of that popup box and the AOL registration?

I should have been clearer on my last email. Sorry.
