I recently upgraded to Netscape 7.0. I have a Mac G3, 320 MB ram and 3 gig hardrive with OS 9.2.
Whenever I download a page on Netscape, JPG's don't fully load, with colors in images not appearing clear or at high resolution (almost like a watercolor painting). This doesn not happen in N 4.0 or IE 5.0. Monitor is at its highest resolution (1024X768)
Any suggestions or help is appreciated. thanks!

    Welcome to the Forum, quackal!

    Hi quackal,

Not being a Mac user, I'm very limited in being able to help. However, Netscape 7 system requirements for a Mac are as follows:

    Mac
    Operating Systems
    Mac OS X 10.1.x
Mac OS X 10.2.x and later

    Minimum Hardware
    PowerPC 604e 266 MHz
    G3, G4, 64 MB RAM
    72 MB hard drive space

I would suggest that you look HERE for a solution, and for more knowledgeable help.

    Ramona :D

Well, my faith in my own tech abilities has been restored. I had my monitor at it's highest resolution, however never changed the "colors" option from "256" to "Thousands of colors ". At one point I tried switching it however didn't realize that it wouldn't take effect unless I restarted the machine (which I tried last night) so that seemed to be the problem with JPGS not loading fully.
Thanks for your help. Maybe this will help others in the future!
    Al :)
