The description for this wireless network system says it has a speed of up to 108 Mbps. This is twice as fast as any other brand's fastest offering. Our office is currently networked by wire and this is even a little faster than the 100 MBps that we are used to. We are moving office locations and, due to what would be very long wire runs, think we may be better off going wireless.

Is this Netgear brand reliable? As easy to set up and configure as their description says?

Would we be disappointed in a 54 Mbps network after growing used to 100 Mbps?

Compared to all the other expenses involved in changing office locations, the price differences in the different wireless systems are small potatoes. Is there something better/faster that I should be looking at?

I'll appreciate any opinions and/or experiences. At least this post is BEFORE I'm having a problem, not DURING! Thanks to all in advance.

Thanks, Daizy.... that was good reading. I wish there had been more "member ratings ", but from what there were it appears that the Netgear is the better choice over D-Link. I appreciate the quick answer!
