Well... I've dropped back to FF 1.0.7 in order to be able to see the previews on Netflix. Evidentally 1.5 will not show them. Not sure how many Netflix fans are here but if you're one of them you might want to think twice before installing FF 1.5.

James--Netflix previews require ActiveX controls to run.
    Do you also have IE?

Yes, I have IE. Hey... don't we all? lol

Anyway, I've reverted to FF 1.0.7 and my previews are working so my attitude is: to heck with FF 1.5. I don't need it.

Netflix requires Windows Media Player, and, any gecko program requires the ActiveX plugin, which, at last count was available for 1.0.7, but was not for 1.5.
The npmozax.dll file is delivered to the program plugins folder.
I am using the Media Player Connectivity Extention, which allows me to play embedded video, and the like in the external player. so, WMP opens when I click on the player. I don't know how Netflix works, but this is pretty neat. The same extention
    is available for 1.5
, but I am not ready to try it.

I tried your extension and it works beautifully. Thanks, Westside.

I have tested in 1.5, and it is as good. Interestingly, some people had terrible problems with it, according to the users evaluation, so I was hesitant to recommend it.

I have an additional piece of information about the extention (new update, today). It works with all reasonable website. The usual suspects, i.e. Launch and Cmt.com do not believe. Yahoo uses a sniffer not letting you past the error of using a browser more advanced than NS7.1. With CMT, I am not so sure what happens. I will open WMP, but won't play. VH1.com works, but it gave me a java exception ( not sure if it happened before). I would expect mtv.com to work properly.
I like this extention because I must, otherwise, keep the browser open, just to use their player. I am using FF1.5rc2, and I am listening to vh1 radio in WMP.
As for Videos it is a different story. It will play the obligatory commercial, but won't play the video. This happens even with disabled extention, using the internal player. Adblock is justified, in these cases. I don't care for the extention, but I am using an anti-flash script. So, there!
