    When Im downloading MPEGs and trying to convert them to VCD through Nero the bar when its converting it to the VCD format just stops completely. I left it for around 30 mins and it didnt move after getting to a certain percent. It only happens on certain files.

    Im doing it thru the wizard.
    Compile new cd ->
    other cd formats ->
    Video CD.

    The version of nero is version 5.5.7.1.

    Also, when the mpeg stops converting to vcd on nero and i restart it on a blank cd it stops at the exact same percentage again for that same file. does anyone know why its doing this or how to get around it?

    I tried using that tmpg-enc thing but when I try to add a file it says sumthing about there is no sound or no sound allowed or sumthing.

    any help appreciated. :)

    Your MPG file may be (more than likely is) corrupt. The corruption is at the point it stops.

    Try to find the frame it stops at in TMPGEncoder and then delete that frame and try burning it again to see if goes beyond that point.
