Help....I have no response when using my CD rom. I put an digital camera installation Cd in, and it reads that there is nothing on the CD. I tried others (Street and Maps) and had the same result.
I also have tried to install a Multi-Card Reader in the usb port, and although the computer says it is installed on the Add New Hardware Wizard, there is no driver to run it.
I also downloaded the driver for the Card Reader from lexarmedia.com, and the computer says driver not found, even though I told it where to find it on the New Hardware Wizard.
Norton WinnDoctor says I have missing files, and can't correct them.
Do I have multiple problems, or is there one thing I can do to correct? I have run Ad-aware, and Spybot, and everything is clean.
    Thanks in advance!
    Peace,
    Roy

Your CD drive may need cleaning.
If you plugged in the USB camera before you installed the software, things can go wrong badly.
If this has occurred in the last 5 days, this is what I would do. Restart in Dos Mode, and type in this command.
    scanreg /restore
Pick a registry dated before you plugged in the camera.
Boot the computer, and then install the USB camera drivers. It should be a setup program, when it is done you should be prompted to reboot and then plug in the camera.
