    I installed the MSN Browser. The Favorites are shown double. When I click a Folder none of the Folders under this one are shown. This does not happen in Internet Explorer. The Favorites for IE are in C:\Documents and Settings\ "My user Name "\Favorites. Are the Favorites for MSN in a Folder some place else. If I knew this, I might be able to fix this problem.

    MSN Explorer favorites are stored in a file named favorites.xml located at Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\MSN6\UserData\{2A2056B0-C02F-01C6-0300-00003D4C73D5}
    The MSN6 folder and numbered folder may/will differ depending on Explorer version and username. Just double clicking the favorites.xml should open it in an MSN Explorer window in source view, where you can edit it.

    Thanks noahdfear. I found the .xml that you noted. I could not think of any way I could edit it. I do not know if it is safe for anyone else to try the following! In User Data is 2 folders, each with a different number. I put an A in front of a number, and then tried Favorites. I lost them. But then by removing the a and clicking Favorites in MSN Browser I was able to Import Internet Explorer Favorites. Now they are in MSN Browser the same as in IE browser. I do not know in what number they are, but I do not care. Thanks again for leading me to solution.

    Glad you got it sorted. :)

    My mistake saying that it could be edited via opening source view in MSN Explorer..... I didn't even try. :eek: Incidentally, there is a free xml editor here. I have Visual Studio installed, which will edit them as well.
