I am running MS Office 2000 Pro on a Windows XP Pro machine. I have been told that I should not run MS Office with XP. I have no problems using it on this machine. Why would someone tell me not to use it? Is there any known issues with MS office 2000 and XP?

Not sure who might have told you or what they were thinking but they are wrong. More bells & whistles with XP (2002) but 2000 will certainly run fine with XP.

I've run Office 2000 Pro on XP Pro since XP surfaced - no more problems than on 98SE - and my version is the original, no updates, nowt :)

AFAIK Office XP runs fine on 98SE too.

I have them both (XP Pro and Office 2000P) and have not had any conflicts or problems. I have been using them both for 2 years.
