Hey you guys - I have had this laptop for two yaers now(with IE 6.0). My screen resolution is 1920 x 1200.
    The text looks great.

For the last month, whenever I access any website, it's window opens at 2/3 the width of the screen, not the 100% that it used to. After the windows open I have to resize them to full screen.
Anybody got any ideas of why this could be ?????

    Found Solution

Well I found a solution to my own problem -

To get Internet Explorer to open "full screen" simply open IE up, hold down the "Control ", Shift ", and "Alt" keys and while they are down, resize the window to "full" by dragging its corners (dont use the maximize button).

After the desired size is reached, continue holding down the three keys and click the "close button" to close IE.
From now on IE will open "Full Screen "............

thehappyman--Is this opening any IE window or only a "New Window "?
    Is the problem only width?
Windows/IE's windows usually open in the format they were closed in.
For Open in New Window, you usually can correct this by
    1) Open a window
    2) Open a New Window. Size it the way you want it.
    3) Close the first window (not the New Window).
    4) Close the New Window.
There are those who say that when you open any window, size it the way you want it and then simultaneously click Control and X (Close), you will keep the desired size.
If none of this helps, there also is a program called http://www.jiisoft.com/iemaximizer/index.htm

Congrats HappyMan. You have found a method never mentioned on this board for that fix.

Might I ask where you found this gem?:)
