Does MS Frontpage 2003 is included in MS Office 2003? Or it comes separately?

I was going to reply that it comes with professional version, but not in the standard. However, to support this I searched for conformation on the Microsoft site and found this. According to this Microsoft site Front Page is not included in any of the Office 2003 packages. Looks like you have to buy it as a standalone.

It's not clear, in some reviews the Frontpage is included in Office-2003, in others -not. Is the Frontpage-2003 the same rotten as previous Frontpage-2000 or its something worthy thing now?

Hi Kenton, I reckon MS dropped it from Office 2003 because, as you say,
it wasn't much of a product anyway. There are far better HTML editors
    around eg

    HTMLPAD

    regards

I can confirm FP2003 is definitely not in Office. I have the version which includes Word/Outlook/Excel/Powerpoint/Publisher/Access/Infopath  but had to purchase Frontpage separately (still haven't installed it  ) There are various feature changes as once again I had to purchase another book as 2002 did not cover the new thing in 2003! I have to admit Microsoft had the monopoly with me as I wanted integration with my Office suite.

Does someone knows convenient HTML editors for web site creation? Using just Notepad to create website is not rational thing.

I believe Microsoft are pitching Frontpage as a "serious" HTML editor with a number of new features. However, I agree with Merlin, there is better out there.

My personal favourite is Spider Writer. It's good for writing HTML, but also gave me a leg up into ASP and from there to PHP and Javascript.

I need freeware program. Keyword is 'freeware'. Or open source.
Is the HTMLPad 2004 WYSWYG editor? Just to edit a code -its insufficiently. There should be convenient tables editor for table-based layouts creation.
It seems, there are table-based layout editor in Fontpage-2003?

    thanks
