Hi there.

I am a 64 year old male with experience as a computer engineer since the inception of the Commodore PET and the Sinclair Z80 (£100) plus £100 for an extra memory of 1KB). I learned on an Apple Classic. I believe I still have it in the attic. I am interested in all aspects of repair and software correction/updates. At 60 I achieved the Microsoft A+ Certificate.
I still have the passion to beat Microsoft at its naughty and sometimes very frustrating tricks. I love the fact that the internet is a self fulfilling phrophesy, in that we can use it to repair/discuss commonly known problems. I feel I need to get to try more distros of Linux, before Windows 7.
