I have had mozilla and firefox and for the last few weeks I am now getting a fullsoft.dll error on both. I have tried to delete the talkabout file on mozilla but it hasn't helped. I also tried reinstalling mozilla but I can't seem to make it past the setup stage.

    Thank you for any help,

    Jason

    Welcome to the Forum, lou4062!

    Jason,

These are the files to remove for the Fullsoft/Talkback program:

    fullsoft.dll
    talkback.cnt
    talkback.hlp
    talkback.exe
These files are found in Mozilla, Firefox, and Thunderbird. The best way to delete them is to do a Windows "Find" for each of the files.

    <path>\Application Data\Talkback folder

If you are having problems installing Mozilla, and have only ONE version of Mozilla, and NO Netscape installed, then delete the GRE folder located here:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\mozilla.org\GRE. Otherwise delete only the GRE folder which corresponds with your version of Mozilla.

Ensure that you are using Add/Remove to uninstall the program

Also delete the Mozilla Program Folder located here:
C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla. If you have added plugins, then save your plugins folder before deleting the program folder.

Now try to install Mozilla again. If you aren't using Mozilla 1.7.3, I strongly recommend upgrading to this Version.

Thank you for the help Ramona. I am using 1.7.3 Mozilla and have deleted those files on mozilla I haven't done it on firefox yet. Now, when I go on mozilla I don't get the fullsoft error but I get a epmuux.dll error instead.

    Jason,

I don't have that file (epmuux.dll) so conclude that it is not a Mozilla program file? Do a "Find" for that file, right click, and select Properties. That should tell you the location of the file, which will let you know what program in which the file is located.

    Ramona,

I deleted the files that you told me to and that enabled me to reinstall Mozilla. So far, so good. Thank you for all your help.
