Mouse/XP

    My arrow from the mouse on occasion freezes on screen so I have to restart the whole computer to get it moving again.
    Is this to do with XP or my mouse, because I never had this problem with my old computer with running 98SE.
    Any ideas?
    Tips/suggestions appreciated.

    Geordie - that's gotta be annoying.

    I don't have an answer for you but do have a couple or three suggestions.

    Try a different mouse if you have one around.

    Otherwise (or if that doesn't help) try running task manager while it is happening and see if anything odd shows up.

    Also check your event logs. They will often show you an error that will allow you to diagnose and fix problems.
