    Hi Everyone,

I have an annoying problem that I was wondering if anyone else has experienced. When exploring a website in IE, I usually use the wheel on my mouse to scoll down pages instead of clicking on the sidebar. I have noticed that sometimes when I click on a link and a new page opens my wheel will scroll on the new page, but if I close the new page and return to the original, the wheel will not work on the original page. If I refresh the page, the wheel scrolls again. I realize this is not life or death, but it can be highly annoying. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, is there any kind of fix? If I have to, I'll keep refreshing, but I'd rather not. Thanks in advance for any help.
By the way, I'm using a Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse, if it makes a difference.

No, never experienced that, but would suggest checking to see if you have the latest driver for your mouse... I don’t have Logitech but MS IntelliMouse.

Try and click on the page to make sure it's the top/active page.

    Hello envirossf,

This is normal behavior if in the Advanced tab of IE's tool bar > Internet tools > Advanced tab "Reuse Windows for launching sortcuts" is checked.

Try and click on the page to make sure it's the top/active page. from Steve works - just a left click will "activate" that window again.

    Regards - Charles

Scrolling is just a click away

I have experienced this behavior with two different brands of wireless mice. All it took for me to scroll was a quick left-click on the page and all was well again. HTH :)

    Thanks All,

I did have the "reuse window" box checked in IE advanced tools. I unchecked it, but problem still occured. I was on the top page. I tried the left click, and it scrolled again. It was so simple a fix, I originally overlooked it, DOH!
