Mouse scroll slow and jerky in IE

Hey All,

Mouse scroll is slow and jerky and I cant figure out why

Optical mouse (Micro Inovations) also at any site I go to

some pictures wont load ... thats at any site are my settings

wrong? Windows98SE 6.0 sp1

Hello Firedancer,

Do you have a standard mouse to try with? If you do and no problems, than something happened to your optical software.

In that case uninstall/reinstall the optical software.

Other possibilities: did you add new software that affects internet sufing such as a firewall or change settings in the firewall? An AV?

You can try disabling the firewall or AV internet scanning to see if that is the cause.

In other words, what else is running that is interacting with the internet and look at those.

Yes I have Kerio PFW running and Nod32 AV pluse I have WorGuard running in background LOL but WG is a script sentury and very little resources. I have shut some stuff down and it seems to run a bit better. Prolly nothing wrong just my over protective imagination ROFL. thought I would ask tho..
