Resolved Motherboard question

    I have a motherboard in a computer i bought and can't find out anything about it. all thats on it is winfast and a bar code with WYWM60604177
    PC710MO2-GX6LRS. I need the panel conections from the case to the motherboard, or where i can find a download manual. i tried foxconn but they don't list that number. any help i can get will be appricated. thanks.

    Not sure but try one of these manuals. With any luck even if the board isn't an exact match the panel connectors are the same.

    I tried to download these but winzip says error: invalid compressed data to expand
    (inflate)the file.

    Try the download again, I've just downloaded the first one with no problems. I'll upload it to another site if you're still having problems.

    I tried to dwnload both again and i keep getting the same error mesg. i tried putting it into my pdf file folder and i get the same thing.

    If it helps, some manufacturers put the model number close the CPU, so that the heatsink/fan overhang and obscure it.

    I have a Winfast m/b in the cupboard. The model number is on the (bottom) edge, next to the last PCI slot. If it is not there, check around the other edges and in the corners.

    From what I've read through googling is that bebuzz's board is one of the two I linked to.

    I've emailed him the manual and pinouts for the front panel seem to match, just waiting for a response to see if it works.

    Hi wildfire,

    Knowing the pinouts would not be my aim. Knowing the model number of the motherboard would, because there are other areas that would probably need investigation in the future.

    I am offering suggestions for identifying the motherboard.

    Guys, i got the board up and running,i pulled the board and the number was stamped on the other side, never seen one like that. the number is 760gxk8mc, so thanks for all your help, the pins were the same though.
