    Hi,
Does anyone know why your monitor goes black for a second or two and then comes back on. This just started happening today and it happens both when a program is running or if you are on the desktop.

We also are getting a small square with green striped lines under our mouse
    Pointer.
    T
    Thanks for any help.

Check your cable connections. This happened to me, it was very intermitten
and just double checking the cables fixed it.

This may be different but its a good first step.

    Hi Clif,
    Thanks for the reply.

After re-booting several times, the problem seems to have disappeared.

I'm going to check all the cables, also.

    Thanks again.

    Hi jslow,

You might want to run the directx diagnostic.

From the run box > type dxdiag > Display tab.

    Regards - Charles

    Hi Charles,
    Thanks for the reply.

I ran dxdiag and no problems were found.
I ran the tests and they all ran successfully.

    Thanks
